Strathaven Fly-Past Our Strathaven Fly-Past gift voucher is an affordable introduction to microlighting at £79 and is sure to leave you wanting more! On arrival at Strathaven Airfield you will be kitted up in your fleecy-lined flying suit before being invited to bring your family and friends over to see the microlight close-up. Then, after a full safety brief from your instructor, it's time to taxy for take-off. An airfield fly-past gives a great photo opportunity and then you'll head off for a tour round the market town of Strathaven, seeing its castle, multi-coloured town centre and millionaires' homes from the air. You'll spend about 20 minutes in the air, and on a clear day will see as far as Ireland!
